Welcome to the official www.ChippingCampden.co.uk

guide in the Cotswolds

Welcome to our beautiful town, Chipping Campden in the Cotswolds. Campden is one of the most beautiful tourist destinations in the UK. With easy road access, it is ideal for a full vacation or just a short break. The central, location in the North Cotswolds makes an ideal base for your accommodation for a touring holiday.

Take a pictorial tour through these pages and get a taste of Olde Cotswold England - but if you really want to appreciate the feeling of staying in an old cotswold stone house in a town, hardly touched by the centuries, you'll just have to come and visit us.

Due to its central location in the north Cotswolds, Campden is also a perfect place to stay with plentiful accommodation. You can enjoy the delights not only of this charming old wool merchants' town, but also the nearby surrounding shire counties of Oxfordshire, Worcestershire and Warwickshire. From Blenheim Palace and the Cotswolds to the south, to Worcester and the Malverns to the west plus Stratford-upon-Avon and Warwick (with the best medieval castle in Europe) all within an hour's journey.

2013 - THE BEAUTIFUL SCENERY OF CHIPPING CAMPDEN

This year as with every year, the scenery around Chipping Campden delights visitors to this 'Jewel of the Cotswolds'. From snow scenes, with snowdrops pushing through, followed by bluebells in Springtime in the local woodland. Late spring, early summer sees the beautiful brief period of fields carpetted with poppies.

As summer develops, we look forward to those lazy summer days. There are some fine short walks around the hills surrounding Campden.

Late summmer brings fields of lavender, just a short walk or drive from Chipping Campden town centre.

Autumn sees the fields full of bales of hay and trees and fields turn towards their golden colours.
