The Volunteer Inn is a locally owned 17th Century Inn, crammed with history, traditional local cask Ales along with plenty of character, set in the small Cotswold town of Chipping Campden, an area renowned for its natural beauty. The Inn is popular with locals and ramblers attempting the Cotswold Way, as well as those travelling from further a field. Our aim is to supply you with a quaint, comfortable room for the evening in a homely atmosphere along with forwarding local knowledge on the best places to visit. Sit back and relax in one of our nine charming bedrooms as well as enjoying a sumptuous evening meal in one of Chipping Campdens main eating outlets , Maharaja, located to the rear of the Inn, providing fine, authentic, Indian Cuisine.
The Pub: The lounge bar has a traditional cotswold pub atmosphere and in the winter benfits from a roaring log fire. There is a large choice of real ales and numerous CAMRA awards have been won in recent years as well as large array of ciders, lagers and stout.
